Shared Healing

Group Therapy

Grow alongside others who understand. Group therapy offers a unique depth of connection and learning that individual sessions cannot replicate.

The Power of Healing Together

Group therapy brings together a small number of people facing similar challenges under the guidance of a licensed clinician. The group itself becomes a therapeutic tool — offering diverse perspectives, real-world feedback, and a sense of belonging that can be profoundly healing.

At Healing Rhode, our groups are carefully facilitated to create a safe, confidential environment where every member can go deeper, challenge themselves, and develop sustained growth alongside others on a similar journey.

Why Group Therapy?

1

You Are Not Alone

Hearing others share similar struggles reduces isolation and shame, and reminds you that what you are experiencing is human.

2

Real-World Feedback

Peers offer honest, compassionate perspectives that can illuminate blind spots and accelerate growth in ways individual therapy cannot.

3

Practice in a Safe Space

Group is a low-stakes environment to practice new communication skills, set boundaries, and build confidence before applying them in daily life.

4

Community & Connection

Many group members form meaningful connections that extend beyond the group itself, building a support network that lasts.

What to Expect

Groups at Healing Rhode are small — typically 6 to 10 members — and meet on a regular schedule. Your clinician will facilitate discussion, introduce topics, and guide the group toward meaningful exploration. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of every group.

New members typically complete an individual intake session before joining a group so your clinician can ensure it is the right fit for your current needs and goals.
